M.I.A. Lashes Out at Gaga, Oprah

Having landed herself in article headlines over questionable comments as of late - M.I.A has gone and done it again.
In an interview with Time Out London, the “Paper Planes” songstress lashed out at not only Oprah Winfrey, but Lady Gaga, too.
She told, “[Winfrey] made this huge speech at the [NewYork Metropolitan] ball praising Lady Gaga about how she is helping Americans to be the best of themselves. There’s millions of other Americans who represent that for me. Is [it] about numbers? About how much you’re selling? Is it truly about the journey? Because [Lady Gaga's] journey isn’t that difficult: to go from the f—ing Upper East Side to a f—ing performing arts school and onto a stage at the museum of f—ing wherever. That journey’s about four miles.”
Furthermore, M.I.A. recently accused Gaga of ripping off the work of artists like Madonna and Grace Jones, calling her “a good mimic.”

Oprah Winfrey: Sexual Scandal?

Posted on: April 13, 2010 by:

She’s known the world over as one of the most philanthropic celebrities of her time, but Oprah Winfrey is getting hit with some pretty serious allegations in a new book.
The talk show host is accused of ‘trading sexual favors for money’ while in high school by Kitty Kelley in her new book.
Contradicting Winfrey’s claims of sexual abuse, Kelley quotes Oprah’s sister Patricia in her new book “Oprah: A Biography.”
Patricia explained, “After becoming sexually promiscuous, Oprah devised another way to make money. She invited me over during the day while my mother was working.”
“Her boyfriends were all much older than her, about 19 or in their early 20s. Whenever a guy arrived at our door, Oprah would give Popsicles to me and our younger brother Jeffrey and say, ‘You two go out on the porch and play now.’ Oprah then would go inside with her boyfriend… I didn’t’ find out what Oprah was doing until I was older and she showed me how she did ‘The Horse’-which is what she called the sex act.”

Adam Lambert: Career Advice from the Queen of Pop

Posted on: January 21, 2010 by:

Sitting down for his much-awaited Oprah interview on Tuesday, Adam Lambert chatted with the talk show host about everything from career advice to his sudden rise to fame.

The “American Idol” stud explained a quick meet-up with Madonna at her NYC apartment, telling, “It was wild, I’ve looked up to her as a popstar… She came in with no make-up, yoga wear, totally Zen and her presence is very powerful, very intense.”

Continuing on, Lambert tells, “The first thing I said was, ‘Oh my God!’. I said, ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I’m just really intimidated right now’. And she said, ‘Why? Because I love you!’ And she said, ‘So love equals intimidation for you?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, pretty much. Most of the time, I think, when I feel love, that’s the way it manifests itself at first’.”

Adam adds, “I talked to her about celebrity and how to deal with it all. [She said], ‘Just keep your eye on the prize and put your blinders up. Don’t get sidetracked with all the extra fuss’.”

As for the toughest challenge after leaving “Idol”, the soon-to-be 28-year-old said, “I try to go throughout my daily life just as if nothing has changed, but you don’t have much anonymity anymore, which feels really good.”
