After running some errands in New York City, Naomi Watts was spotted returning to her apartment in the Nolita neighborhood yesterday (July 26).
The “21 Grams” actress looked a bit flustered as she dug through her purse for her keys while the nearby paparazzi snapped up pictures.
In career news, Naomi has been named as the new face of Ann Taylor’s Fall 2010 advertising campaign.
Coming in September, Ms. Watts will appear in spots in Elle, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle, Marie Claire, More, Vanity Fair, and Vogue.

Drawing out quite the impressive guest list, the stars were out in full force for the Chopard 150th Anniversary Party at Palm Beach, Pointe Croisette on Monday night (May 17).
Leading the charge of celebrity arrivals were the Hilton family, as Paris and Nicky were joined by parents Rick and Kathy as well as brother Barron.
Also turning up at the VIP Room bash were Tinseltown ladies including Lindsay Lohan, Kate Beckinsale, Naomi Watts and Marion Cotillard.
Rounding out the party revelers were Naomi Campbell, Meg Ryan, Eugenia Silva and Eva Herzigova, with the crowd being treated to a performance by Lionel Richie.

Stepping out for a swanky evening, Naomi Watts was spotted at the premiere of her new film “Mother and Child” in New York City last night (April 26).
The “21 Grams” babe looked lovely as she mingled with fellow actresses Kerry Washington and Annette Bening outside the Paris Theatre.
And though she’s done a slew of films in her career, Naomi says “Mother and Child” holds a special place in her heart.
I had this growing belly and we needed a few shots but we actually only used one. It was a no-brainer because prosthetics never look convincing enough and the good ones are really expensive and this was a tiny budget, so Rodrigo [director] popped on a plane and came with his cinematographer and he stole that shot. Now, when I watch it, I get very emotional because it was that moment between me and my baby and you see a little bit of movement because I drank some ice water and shook him (baby) up!”

Enjoying the newly-arrived spring weather, Naomi Watts was spotted out on the streets of Manhattan this afternoon (March 10).

The “King Kong” actress was busy hosting the Liberty of London For Target Pop Up experience, looking fine in a black cardigan, printed top, black trousers, and green flats.

On the homefront, Naomi told press her 14-month-old son Samuel (who goes by his middle name Kai) is already starting to talk on a regular basis.

“Kai is definitely starting to talk. He says ‘book,’ ‘apple’ and ‘banana,’ his brother’s name, and ‘Mommy’ and ‘Daddy.’”

Hard at work on their new project, Naomi Watts and Sir Anthony Hopkins filmed scenes outside a shop in Mayfair for Woody Allen’s new untitled romance film on Thursday (August 13).

The co-stars chatted it up in between takes, joining up with other big actors such as Josh Brolin and Antonio Banderas.

Meanwhile, Miss Watts will be starring in the remake of Alred Hitchcock’s suspense classic, ‘The Birds’ from 1963. Tippi Hendren played the original role, and is not happy about a remake and even finds it “insulting.”

“To take a work of art like that and try to copy it is like trying to imitate the Mona Lisa,” the Daily Express quoted Hedren as saying. “I think Hitch would call them tiny tots trying to make movies and ask why they don’t have an original thought in their heads,” she added.
