Still situated in the UK, Katy Perry was spotted greeting her adoring fans in London, England on Friday night (September 3).
Following another busy day of promotions, the “California Gurls” singer kindly spent time outside the Claridge’s Hotel to sign autographs and pose for pictures before continuing along with her nighttime agenda.
Having released her new album “Teenage Dream” earlier this week, Katy was able to grab the top spot on the sales chart with 192,000 copies sold while “California Gurls” saw 3.6 million downloads.
Despite the fact that she had the best numbers, industry experts were surprised by the low totals, as one source said, “I’d like to meet one industry executive last week who thought her album would do under 200,000 units, because I don’t think that person exists.”
The insider adds, “It was a wake-up call for some folks. Some think the sky is falling. Others said, ‘Wait a minute, she’s a singles artist.’ And still others said EMI should have put out the album six weeks ago and it would have sold more.”

Fans of Selena Gomez are most certainly pumped up that today is finally here - the music video for “A Year Without Rain” premiered after “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” on Friday night (September 3).
The “Wizards of Waverly Place” star is doing all kinds of promotion to get her followers ready when her new album hits stores on September 21st.
Today she even announced the track listing for the record. Selena shared the good news on her official Facebook page.
Gomez wrote, “Hey Everyone– I wanted to share with you the official tracks off my upcoming album ‘A Year Without Rain’ as well as the bonus features on the deluxe album. I can’t wait for you all to hear the album.”
A Year Without Rain will include the title track, “Round & Round,” “Rock God,” “Off the Chain,” “Summer’s Not Hot,” “Intuition,” “Spotlight,” “Ghost of You,” “Sick of You,” “and “Live Like There’s No Tomorrow.”

Enjoying some quality bonding time, Sarah Michelle Gellar and baby Charlotte Prinze were spotted out in Brentwood, CA on Friday (September 3).
The adorable mother/daughter duo strolled about town, soaking up the summer sunshine as they grabbed up lunch at Coral Tree Cafe.
Steering clear of career duties as she gets used to motherhood, Miss Gellar most recently worked on a new show called “The Wonderful Maladys”.
Unfortunately, the pilot wasn’t picked up by HBO, as the Gotham series following the dysfunctional lives of three adult siblings who lost their parents at a young age has since been put on the back-burner.

It’s been one of the most anticipated films this month, and it sounds like “ Going the Distance ” is going straight to the top of the box office.
The film involves Erin ( Drew Barrymore ) and Garrett ( Justin Long ) who meet during Erin’s internship in New York City, but once the internship ends and Erin heads back to California the couple is forced to deal with the struggles of a long-distance relationship.
The reviews have been on the positive side for the most part, as Michael O’Sullivan from The Washington Post wrote, “Drew Barrymore and Justin Long make one cute couple. Whether or not the actors’ on-again-off-again real-life romance helped their performances as lovers frustrated by geography — he’s in Manhattan, she’s in San Francisco — it’s clear they have chemistry. E.T.’s girlfriend and the Mac Guy ooze a laid-back, goofy charm through their pore-less skin. They’re a modern-day Hepburn and Grant.”
Another critic told, “’Going the Distance’ is by no means perfect, but it’s light years beyond the average rom-com, bracingly honest and genuinely funny about the ups and downs of relationships. Barrymore and Long, once a real-life couple and now who-knows-what, have a real chemistry that complements their well-written, realistic characters, and even when the movie falls apart around them in the third act, we root for these two crazy kids and their shot at romance. They elevate the story beyond its more flawed moments, but really, ‘Going the Distance’ is pretty special all on its own.”

No longer denying the fact that they’re a couple, Jesse James and Kat Von D were spotted making their way around West Hollywood, California on Friday (September 3).
The Orange County Choppers CEO and his tattoo artist gal stopped to get some gas before holding hands as they headed off to grab up some lunch.
Earlier in the week, Jesse and Kat hit up the Two Worlds of Art Collide event in Hollywood, looking to be relieved that they have now decided to take their relationship public.
Speaking of their romance, the “LA Ink” babe explained, “Jesse is only my ninth boyfriend. I don’t hang out with anybody unless I am in love.”

Getting in a little morning exercise, Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth were spotted out for a jog in Santa Monica, CA on Friday (September 3).
With both parties looking sporty, the pair - who have been dating since January - built up a sweat before shedding a few layers as the summer sunshine grew stronger.
The sighting comes amidst building rumors that a wedding is on the way for Reese and her Hollywood agent beau.
According to InTouch, Mr Toth was recently spotted shopping for diamond rings, as their source tells, “Reese wasn’t with him, because he wants it to be a surprise. But he knows her style. The ring will be classic and beautiful, just like Reese herself.”

Looking excited to be hitting the books, Ryder Robinson went into sprint mode as his famous mommy Kate Hudson smilingly watched on in Santa Monica on Friday (September 3).
The pair made their way to a local schoolhouse as Ryder loaded up on all of the exciting learning material he’ll be needing for the quickly approaching academic year.
The school outing comes just a day after Miss Hudson and her boy returned from London - where Kate got in some quality time with boyfriend Matthew Bellamy.
Of her latest romance, Kate recently told press she’s in no rush to marry, sayng, “I’ll just see what happens. I think a lot of times people are terrified of love and stop themselves from experiencing it. I don’t ever want to get that jaded.”

It has plenty of star power and hype to be a hit film, and now “ Machete ” also has the reviews to back it all up.
The Robert Rodriguez flick has a killer combination of action, wit, and humor that has critics lauding with praise, despite a modest projected opening weekend take.
One review states, “Danny Trejo plays the long-haired, craggy-faced titular Machete with a combination of swift ferocity and baleful kindliness. And the ladies love it. … Trejo invests his character with an engaging blend of swagger, gravity and terse humor. When Alba’s INS agent instructs him to contact her, he snarls, ‘Machete don’t text.’ It’s an instant catchphrase.”
And another critic wrote, “[R]est assured that the political satire and commentary merely provide backdrop for flying bullets, swinging blades, spurting arteries, naked babes and tough-guy one-liners (”Machete don’t text” is tattoo-worthy). The film takes absolutely wild-eyed delight in viscera, gore and grotesquerie (to wit, one poor fellow’s intestine is used as an escape rope, while another man is quite explicitly crucified). … You can’t always count on Rodriguez to get the balance of lunacy, competence and coherence right. But here he more or less gives you exactly what you were looking for: 100 or so minutes as bloody, excessive and ridiculous as those initial 150 or so seconds.”

The “Simple Life” mommy sports a bangy black hairdo along with a series of high-fashion getups, showing off her unique sense of style.
She told the magazine, “One thing about me is that I have always taken responsibility for my own actions whether they’re good or bad. Even when I was going through my tough times, that was a situation I created.”
“People ask me; do I blame Hollywood or my parents? No, I don’t blame my parents. It had nothing to do with them, I created it and manifested it and I got myself through it with help from a lot of great people.”

Earlier this summer he was hit by a car and the driver took off, and Kellan Lutz’s assailant is still at large.
The “New Moon” hunk was working on the set of his movie “Immortals” when the incident occurred and Lutz says he’s worried for his own safety because the culprit still hasn’t been nabbed by Canadian police.
Paparazzo Richard Fedyck is thought to be the driver of the car, though he’s still yet to submit his driver’s license to the Montreal police.
In a press statement, Fedyck said he indeed witnessed the incident, but he wasn’t the driver and hadn’t been contacted by the authorities.
