After the shocking news of Corey Haim’s death early Wednesday morning (March 10), best friend Corey Feldman has spoken out.

In a statement, Feldman told, “I was awakened at 8:30 this morning by my brother and sister knocking on my bedroom door. They informed me of the loss of my brother Corey Haim. My eyes weren’t even open all the way when the tears started streaming down my face.”

“I am so sorry for Corey, his mother Judy, his family, my family, all of our fans, and of course my son who I will have to find a way to explain this to when he gets home from school,” Feldman continued.

The final sentence in the statement reads, “I hope the art Corey has left behind will be remembered as the passion of that for which he truly lived.”

Living it up in the sunshine state, Whitney Port was spotted spending the day at the pool in Miami on Wednesday (March 10).

Stripping off her colorful beach cover, the MTV reality cutie showed off her fine figure as she took a dip in the cool waters in a skimpy two-piece swimsuit.

Joined by a few friends, Miss Port is currently in the midst of filming a new season of her series, “The City,” with co-star Roxy Olin also making the trip to Florida.

Meanwhile, Whitney is all lined up to take part in the GenArt Fresh Faces in Fashion Runway Presentation and Party, which is being held tonight (March 10) at 8PM.

Making it one of her top priorities, Kendra Wilkinson has introduced son Hank to Hugh Hefner.

According to People magazine, after meeting Hank Baskett IV for the first time last week, the 83-year-old exclaimed, “The baby is a winner!”

Having no awkward feelings toward his ex “Girl Next Door” gal Hef added, “He’s a gorgeous baby. Kendra should be very proud.”

Looking back on Kendra, the “Playboy” guru reminisced, He adds, “She was the wild child when I first met her and she wound up being the first of the bunch to get married here at the Playboy Mansion. Now she has a baby. It’s the stuff that dreams are made of.”

She has always been a woman of many talents so it comes as no surprise that Madonna is trying her hand as a fashion designer.

The “Material Girl” pop star is joining forces with Iconix Brand Group, Inc. which is the company behind labels such as Candies’ and Badgley Mischka.

People magazine reports that the Queen of Pop will be launching her own style empire called MG Icon.

“Joining forces with Iconix to bring my fashion ideas to consumers is very exciting for me,” says Madonna in a press release.

Come August 2010, the first of Madge’s empire – a junior collection called Material Girl – will be available exclusively at Macy’s stores and online.

Still chilling out in the City of Lights, Kate Moss was spotted leaving the Ritz Hotel en route to some shopping today (March 10).

The supermodel/designer looked to be in good spirits as she embarked on a stroll to the Colette shop, sporting a red jacket, black and white striped top, and jeans.

And as previously reported by the Gossip Center, Kate is still holding quite a grudge against Sienna Miller for dumping her pal Rhys Ifans last year. 

In fact, Miss Moss has declared that Sienna is not allowed to attend her annual Easter party, though mutual friends like Jude Law and Sadie Frost have tried to get her to change her mind.

Making her way back to the Big Apple, Kate Gosselin was spotted walking around midtown Manhattan on Wednesday (March 10).

The former TLC reality star mom was joined by her bodyguard, Steve Neild, as she was busy paying a visit to her stylist for a hair makeover.

As previously reported by Gossip Center, Miss Gosselin is removing her extensions for a changeup, as her stylist Ted Gibson tells of the plans, “We’re taking them out and we’re not putting them back in until Thursday. So she’ll have short hair for a day.”

Continuing to dish on Kate’s makeover, Gibson says, “We’re actually doing three different shades of blonde, a caramel, a beige blond and a little bit of a lighter blonde.”

Enjoying the newly-arrived spring weather, Naomi Watts was spotted out on the streets of Manhattan this afternoon (March 10).

The “King Kong” actress was busy hosting the Liberty of London For Target Pop Up experience, looking fine in a black cardigan, printed top, black trousers, and green flats.

On the homefront, Naomi told press her 14-month-old son Samuel (who goes by his middle name Kai) is already starting to talk on a regular basis.

“Kai is definitely starting to talk. He says ‘book,’ ‘apple’ and ‘banana,’ his brother’s name, and ‘Mommy’ and ‘Daddy.’”

Always looking fabulous, Gwyneth Paltrow spent the day on the red carpet at Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday (March 10).

Having flown to the United Arab Emirates from London the previous day, the Oscar winning actress happened to be on-hand for the Laureus World Sports Awards.

In related news, Miss Paltrow continues to dish advice through her GOOP newsletter, recently telling, “Basically everyone I know is knackered, me included. But I didn’t imagine that there could be health problems associated with not getting a good night’s rest.”

The 37-year-old continues, “I recently read a book called Light’s Out: Sleep, Sugar and Survival by T.S. Wiley which talks about the negative cumulative effects of sleep deprivation (aging, hormonal imbalances, etc.) I asked one of my doctors, Frank Lipman, for his opinion on the subject and the result is the fascinating piece below, followed by some suggestions on ways to sleep better.”

Continuing to garner attention as a result of her affair with Tiger Woods, Jamie Jungers was spotted visiting the Howard Stern Show in New York City on Wednesday (March 10).

The blonde beauty was all smiles upon exiting the studio, as she was declared the big winner in Howard’s Tiger Woods Mistress Beauty Pageant.

As a result, Jungers walked away with a ring custom designed by Steven Singer Jewelers which features a 3-carat round black diamond in the center with another half carat in diamonds around it.

Making for quite the pleasant moment, Jamie also was bestowed a handsome $100,000 in cash prizes.

Everybody needs a vacation once in awhile, and Michael J. Fox and his wife were spotted on a beautiful beach in St. Barts on Tuesday (March 9).

The “Family Ties” co-stars - who have been married since 1988 – looked to be having a marvelous time splashing in the ocean, and soaking up the sun.

In other news, being a victim of Parkinson’s disease, Fox will be honored for giving an astounding $175 million for the research of developing medication for the disease.

According to the BBC, the iconic actor will receive an honorary degree of medicine from Sweden’s Karolinska Institute which also awards the annual Nobel Prize in the same discipline.
