“Twilight” fans are already chomping at the bit to see the next installment of the films, “Breaking Dawn,” and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg explained that translating the book to film is a tough job.
During the 2010 San Diego Comic Con, Rosenberg revealed that she’s having fun with the task, while at the same time realizing that there’s a ton of content to fit in.
“It’s extremely challenging to introduce those new characters because you already have quite a slew of characters to service.”
“The Cullen family is large, the wolf family is large, you have three leads … finding room for all of them is a challenge. For me, it is about pulling forward the ones that are essential and really making sure they have a presence.”

She’s been on a long road to recovery since contracting malaria last month, and yesterday (July 28) Cheryl Cole was spotted out in Surrey, England.
The “X Factor” babe looked to be in good spirits as she hit up her local Starbucks coffeehouse for a gourmet beverage.
Cheryl’s cohort Simon Cowell told press he’s hopeful for her recovery and has been enjoying text messages from her.
“I’ve had a few text messages from her over the last few days. It was serious and she was ill - we didn’t realize how ill. But judging by the text messages I’ve had, she is definitely looking forward to getting back to work.”
“I think our job is to make sure she doesn’t come back too quick because I think she’s bored out of her mind and going crazy. The texts are getting increasingly feisty so she’s on the mend!”

He’s always been in touch with American Popular Culture, and earlier today (July 29) President Barack Obama was on “The View” to talk about all kinds of topics.
Giving an overview of his time in office so far, Obama explained, “When I was sworn in … we were losing at that time 750,000 jobs per month, the economy was shrinking at a pace of about 6.5 percent — which is unheard of since the Great Depression — and so the last 20 months has been a non-stop effort to restart the economy, to stabilize the financial system, to make sure that we’re creating jobs again instead of losing them, and in the midst of all that we’ve also had the oil spill, we’ve also had two wars, we’ve also had a pandemic, H1N1, that we had to manage, and a whole host of other issues.”
He continued, “What has been gratifying is the fact that the economy now is starting to stabilize and grow again, and what’s been satisfying is seeing how resilient the American people are. As much as you said it’s been tough for me, the truth is, it’s not tough for me. … You think about what the American people have gone through, losing jobs, seeing their home values go down, their 401Ks declining … I don’t spend a lot of time worrying about me. I spend a lot of time worrying about them.”
And when asked if he’ll be attending Chelsea Clinton’s wedding this weekend, the President revealed he won’t be there. “It’s tough enough having one president at a wedding — you don’t want two presidents!”

He’s been dating the same woman for over 13 years, but Jon Hamm is still in no hurry to rush down the aisle.
“I don’t have the marriage chip,” Hamm told the Aug. 1 issue of Parade magazine, “and neither of us have the greatest examples of marriages in our families.”
Of his longtime love, Jennifer Westfeldt, Hamm raves that she’s a keeper and that “Jen is the love of my life, and we’ve already been together four times longer than my parents were married.”
And, as far as kids go? Jon says, “I like kids but I also like the option to close the door. Becoming a parent is a whole other life, and it doesn’t stop.”

Stepping out for a promotional appearance, Gemma Arterton was spotted at the premiere of her new movie “The Disappearance of Alice Creed” in New York City last night (July 28).
The “Quantum of Solace” hottie looked beautiful as she arrived at the Crosby Street Hotel, sporting a simple grey dress with black heels as she mingled with fellow actress America Ferrera.
Of her work in the film, which included lots of being tied up and gagged, Gemma told press, “Obviously it’s physically draining because I was in a constant state of tension when making the movie. I was constantly tied up in myself (sic) and then physically I had tiny rope burns and I started getting these little cuts on my mouth from the ball gag, so they actually loosened the ropes and stuff.”
“I’d just come off from doing an action movie so it was so nice to be laying in bed (tied up)! You know everybody else is pottering around and doing their thing and I’m just lying there. Sometimes I’d fall asleep while they’re setting up the next shot with handcuffs on!”

It’s over a year since the tragic death of Michael Jackson, and it turns out that seven of the late singer’s doctors will not be charged regarding his demise.
According to a report, the deceased King of Pop’s doctors have been investigated by the Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement and were all found to be innocent of any wrongdoing.
On the other hand, Jacko’s personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray has been charged with involuntary manslaughter for giving Michael propofol and has pleaded not guilty.
Joe Jackson’s attorney Brian Oxman told press, “I am very disappointed. The misuse of medications by Michael Jackson in the last years of his life was excessive and to fail to bring that to the public eye is ignoring reality.”

It’s no secret that she’s not had much luck in the romance department, but Jennifer Love Hewitt hasn’t given up hope.
The “Ghost Whisperer” babe has been seeing actor/director Alex Beh and it sounds like things have been going quite well.
An inside source told press, “She’s so into him. It’s relatively new. But they’re really cute together. They were holding hands the whole night while out at Katsuya earlier this month.”
Prior to her relationship with Beh, J. Love was dating Jamie Kennedy for a year. And before that, she was engaged to Ross McCall.

Taking a day off of her demanding career, Rachel Bilson was spotted out and about in Los Angeles with her half-sisters Hattie and Rosemary.
The Bilson bunch headed over to a local Party City to pick up some supplies as the paparazzi looked on.
Rachel & Co. also paid a visit to a nearby Johnny Rockets restaurant for some delicious burgers, fries, and milkshakes.
In career news, it was just announced that Rachel will be returning to “How I Met Your Mother” to reprise her role as Ted’s love interest Cindy.

He’s always busy doing something, and last night (July 28) Zac Efron was spotted arriving at ABC Studios in Los Angeles.
The “High School Musical” actor was in the house to promote his upcoming movie “Charlie St. Cloud” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
And when he gets some free time, Zac says he’s planning to go sailing with his father. “Sailing is sort of hard. You can’t just say ‘I’m going sailing this weekend.’ There is a lot of preparation that goes into it. You need to get a boat and a crew.”
“It’s not like surfing where you just grab your board and go. But, I’d love to do it in the future. I’d like to go some long-distance sailing. I think that would be really fun. Me and my dad want to do that.”

Stepping out for a swanky evening, Chace Crawford and 50 Cent were spotted at the premiere of their new movie “Twelve” in New York City last night (July 28).
The “Gossip Girl” stud and the “In Da Club” rapper both looked snazzy as they posed for the paparazzi on the red carpet outside the Landmark Sunshine Theatre.
Also in the house were stars like Chace’s CW costars Blake Lively, Jessica Szohr, and Michelle Trachtenberg along with hottie Irina Shayk.
And for everyone who’s excited to see “Twelve,” it won’t be too much longer- it hits theaters August 6th.
