This year’s SXSW festival was jam-packed with all kinds of celebrities, and unfortunately for Mischa Barton, Cisco Adler was one of them.

According to a report, the “Beautiful Life” babe ran into her ex-boyfriend while partying at a Spin Magazine fete on Friday night.And neither of them was willing to let bygones be bygones and just enjoy the shindig, according to an eyewitness.

“You could tell they were both surprised and annoyed that the other party was there. They were totally avoiding each other.”

Making the big decision to put her home up for sale, Mischa Barton’s Beverly Hills home is now on the market.

The former “O.C.” star has decided to move away from the Beverly Hills neighborhood and is asking $8.4 million for the Tuscan-style mansion.

According to the listing for the 7,600 sq ft property — it boasts six bedrooms, a modern kitchen, a “gracefully ascending” staircase and a media room along with a terrace, an expansive yard, a swimming pool and even a spa.

It was recently reported Ms Barton is being sued by M.R.A. Realties for failing to pay the $7,000-a-month rent on her New York apartment for three months.

Enjoying some fresh air, Mischa Barton was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills, CA on Wednesday (February 17).

The “Beautiful Life” actress looked cute as she strolled along with her dogs while making a stop into the Byron & Tracey Salon.

Ms Barton recently made the switch from brunette to blonde, causing tabloids to wonder is she’s pulling a “Britney” and making poor decisions.

Furthermore, a recent report says, “Mischa was seen in the driver’s seat of her car with an unidentified man, smoking something that may or may not be a cigarette… But based on the way she was holding it and dragging on it, some might find it awfully suspicious!”

While her future in television seemed quite uncertain, it looks as if Mischa Barton has finally gotten a bit of a break.

After her Ashton Kutcher produced CW series, “The Beautiful Life,” was pulled off of the air after only two episodes, the latest reports tell that the series has been given new life.

Not going as far as filming any further episodes, insiders tell that there are plans to air the remaining already-filmed material later this season.

“The Beautiful Life” is based on the fast-paced New York modeling world, with Mischa hoping that the show may catch on with the public, hence, providing future television work.

It’s no secret that celebrities love Halloween and it’s also no secret that celebrities love their dogs, so it comes as no surprise that Mischa Barton was spotted out shopping for costumes for her beloved pups.

Dressed in a mostly black ensemble, the “Sixth Sense” actress walked along the New York City streets, with one of her canine companions already donning a cute costume.

Staying up on the latest fashion trends, Miss Barton attended the Garrard Collection Launch earlier in the week.

And, as for the recent cancellation of her show “The Beautiful Life,” Mischa told press, “It’s like they’ve got two other franchises going on there at the same time, and we got swallowed up. It’s more their loss, I think. It could’ve been I think a really, really cool show.”

Mischa Barton: Costume Shopping for the Pups

Still reeling after seeing her show axed after just two episodes, Mischa Barton looked a bit out of it while out in the East Village on Monday afternoon (October 5).

Joined by a guy pal, the former “OC” star walked around aimlessly while “constantly rubbing her nose and looking very depressed” before hailing a cab.

As previously reported by Gossip Center, MIss Barton had been working on the Ashton Kutcher production, “The Beautiful Life,” but the series was cancelled after two episodes due to low viewership.

Meanwhile, Miss Barton is still signed on to do promotional work for Tesco supermarket chain to boost their shop’s ranges in online sales.

Mischa Barton: Friendly at Fashion Week

Taking part in the fashionable festivities, Mischa Barton was spotted out in the West Village after attending a party for New York Fashion Week on Thursday (September 10).

Currently in the Big Apple working on her new show, “The Beautiful Life,” Miss Barton also chatted with “The View” about her recent meltdown which led to a brief hospitalization.

Calling the whole fiasco “silly,” Miss Barton tells, “I mean, really it was blown out of proportion, so it’s kind of silly now to be talking about it because I’m so fine now, but it was really just a bad time for me,. It was sort of one of those things that was like a perfect storm. Everything happened at once.

Continuing on, Mischa adds, “Right, I mean, it was just … I was overwhelmed. I had too much work going on. I had a surgery for my wisdom teeth that went really badly. I had been in the hospital. I had two surgeries on my wisdom teeth. I had four taken out and they had gotten it really badly wrong. They had to drill into my jaw and I was just in really excruciating pain.”

“I had an infection and a dry socket and I woke up on a Sunday morning and there was no doctor available. I was trying to take the minimum amount of pain killers and get through it because I had to go to work soon and I was getting ready to go do this show, The Beautiful Life, and meanwhile I still had a schedule to travel. I was going to Europe. I was going to London. I had things to do and I was prepping to do photo shoots and I was just overwhelmed. I had so much work to do and the surgery had gone so badly for me. And I think that I was just starting to feel completely overwhelmed. It was just too much to have this surgery go so wrong.”

Mischa Barton Explains Her Meltdown

Finishing up another work week, Mischa Barton was spotted taking a cigarette break on the set of “The Beautiful Life” today (August 28).

The “O.C.” actress enlisted the help of an umbrella to keep herself dry while her hair was in curlers as she headed to the hair and makeup trailer.

In a recent interview, Miss Barton spoke out about what led to her hospitalization last July.  She just had her wisdom teeth out while abroad, and it was tough to recover.  “I had to get through it without proper painkillers because I couldn’t take those during work. So it’s been a nightmare.”

“I went through a tough spot where everything compounded on me, and it was like a perfect storm, like everything was happening to me at once.”

“The funny thing is, if all this happened in New York, no one would care. New York lets you be who you are, and people aren’t as judgmental. I’m so glad to be back here.”

Explaining her situation, Mischa Barton has explained why she was placed under psychiatric hold in July – as she was going through a “tough spot” and she didn’t know how to handle it.

The former “O.C.” star says, “I went through a tough spot where everything compounded on me, and it was like a perfect storm, like everything was happening to me at once.”

Before she was scheduled to start filming her new CW show, “The Beautiful Life,” Miss Barton tells, “I was traveling abroad for contract stuff and I went through a terrible surgery-a wisdom tooth surgery, all four removed. It was a nightmare.”

And even a celebrity like Mischa can experience the doctor jitters. “I’ve never had surgery before — it all went wrong and I had to have a second surgery and it almost delayed shooting because it was a nightmare to me, because I couldn’t deal with the thought of not getting there on time. So with the travel, and surgery and prep for the show — it was hell.”

Barton felt that she couldn’t take much more and things were spinning out of control. “I was down in the dumps about everything there for a while,” Barton added. “Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom about things and have to get the most stressed out just to feel better again. I got completely stressed out and couldn’t handle everything, and now I feel really in control.”

Reports claimed she had a mental breakdown, but Barton is denying the rumors, but admitting that it “was pretty bad.”

“The funny thing is, if all this happened in New York, no one would care,” she says. “New York lets you be who you are, and people aren’t as judgmental. I’m so glad to be back here.”
