Turning up to help draw attention to a new retail option, the stars were out for the Gucci Icon-Temporary Flash sneaker store grand opening in New York City on Saturday night (October 24).

With Gucci creative director Frida Giannini dnd DJ Mark Ronson hosting the shindig, celebrities including Mischa Barton, Claire Danes and Evan Rachel Wood all showed up to join in on the fun.

Also in the house were hunky actor Alexander Skarsgard, as well as Mary J Blige, Wyclef Jean, Ann Dexter Jones, Rachael Taylor and the lovely Leigh Lezark.

As for the Gucci offerings, Miss Giannini and Mr Ronson teamed up to design a limited edition collection of Gucci Ronson sneakers available at the new shop.

Out taking care of business matters, Kate Walsh headed into an office building in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles, California on Tuesday (July 21).

Flashing a bit more than was intended, Miss Walsh showed off her undies to awaiting paparazzi as she hopped out of her car.

The outing comes just one day after Kate returned to the set to film the upcoming season of “Private Practice”.

Letting fans know about the day’s shoot, executive producer Shonda Rimes tweeted, “First day shooting at PP!!! Here’s [how] I know season’s really begun: I’ll spend my days running back and forth between the two shows/studios.”

Taking her signature sound to Malaga, Katy Perry was spotted performing at the CostaSol Festival last night (June 28).

The “Hot N Cold” hottie took the stage sporting an array of outfits as she played through her hit-filled set list as part of the festival’s star-studded lineup.

In related news, Miss Perry recently celebrated her recovery from influenza with a bathtime pizza treat, complete with a tweet.

While in Milan, Italy, Katy wrote on her Twitter page, “Why is it that after not eating for three days all I can think of is food…food is smiling at me… luring me with sexual seduction… I have no self control.” She subsequently posted a pic of her in a bathtub with a pizza on a tray.

In the days that followed Michael Jackson’s death, new details have been released regarding the condition of his body at the time of his passing.

According to The Sun, the King of Pop was bald when he died, making it hard for the authorities to ascertain certain information about Jackson’s medical past that is carried in the hair follicles.

In addition, Jackson sustained several broken ribs, probably the result of the failed attempts to revive him.  He also had several needle injection marks from the adrenaline shots given by rescue workers.

Jackson’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray has come forward to reveal that he found Michael unconscious with a faint pulse shortly before he died.

Murray’s lawyer told press, “He just happened to find him in his bed, and he wasn’t’ breathing.  Mr. Jackson was still warm and had a pulse.” Additionally, Murray has claimed that he never prescribed or administered Demerol or OxyContin to Jackson, as was previously thought.

Taking some time out of her busy schedule for charity, Selena Gomez was spotted at the Raise Hope for the Congo shindig last night (June 28).

The “Wizards of Waverly Place” babe looked absolutely fabulous as she made her way around the arrivals area in a beautiful off-the-shoulder white dress with strappy beige heels.

In related news, Miss Gomez (whose new film ‘Princess Protection Program’ hits DVD tomorrow) recently revealed her love of cooking.

Selena shared, “I find cooking very therapeutic.  I have zero time to ever do it, but once I have a house of my own, one day, I’ll have time to do that.  I’d love to go to culinary school.”

Adding to the list of celebrity scuffles, Jonathan Rhys Meyers got himself into a brawl over the weekend while in Paris, France.

According to French reports, the 31-year-old actor allegedly assaulted an airport lounge employee while drunk on Saturday afternoon.

The Irish actor was placed in custody for several hours after having an altercation with bar employees who noticed that Meyers was intoxicated and refused to serve him.

After the refusal, Jonathan took a swing at one of the staffers and punched an intervening waiter which landed him a spot in a sober lock-up area for three hours before being released.

He is required to appear in court in September.

Making their way out to the east coast, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were spotted readying to depart out of Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday afternoon (June 24).

The “Pieces of Me” singer and her Fall Out Boy hubby toted their luggage through the terminal, sharing a loving moment on the escalator before making their way to the departures terminal.

Later on the same night, paparazzi were anxiously awaiting the couple’s arrival in New York City, snapping up shots as Ashlee and Pete exited JFK Airport with luggage in tow.

On a side note, Miss Simpson seems to have found herself some top-notch traveling music, as she tweeted last night: “Go buy the new cobra song.. It’s stuck in my head, and the video is rad.. leighton’s such a babe in it!”

Looking quite comfortable, a casually dressed Jessica Alba was spotted spending time with Cash Warren and daughter Honor Marie on Saturday (June 20).

The “Into the Blue” actress and her family first grabbed a bite to eat at Jinky’s before hitting up a local newsstand to pick up a few home decor magazines.

Meanwhile, Miss Alba recently made a donation to the United Way in Oklahoma City after avoiding vandalism charges stemming from an incident in which she plastered posters around the city to “raise awareness of the endangered great white shark.”

While there’s no word on the amount of her donation, United Way spokeswoman Erin Brewer informed the AP that the amount was “generous and appropriate.”

Jessica Alba’s Weekend Family Fun

Looking none-too-pleased with the paparazzi presence, Jon Gosselin was spotted out at his Reading, Pennsylvania home on Friday afternoon (June 19).

Shouting as he stood in the doorway, the “Jon and Kate Plus 8” dad was busy organizing the lawn crew and chatting on his cell phone in the yard as the kids kept busy playing outside and helping the landscaper.

And as fans await Jon and wife Kate’s big announcement on Monday, a just-released teaser sees Jon telling, “People think I’ve changed. And I have changed. I’m now the person I know I am.”

Meanwhile, Kate adds, “We can’t go back now. We can only go forward and that’s what we’re going to do. And we’re going to learn a lot going forward and I know that we’ll all come out of this on the other side, hopefully stronger, better wiser.”

Looking sexy in a cute little mini dress, AnnaLynne McCord was front and center at the Self Magazine Party in Los Angeles on Thursday night (June 18).

The “90210” actress came to celebrate the July 2009 issue of Self, posing for pictures at the swanky Sunset Tower Hotel.

As for the reason behind her appearance, AnnaLynne joined up with the magazine to film a video called “8 Minutes to Slim”.
