As the feud over the NBC late night slot moves forward, the latest reports tell that Jay Leno has struck a deal for an hour-long show with the network.
With Conan O’Brien appearing to be on the way out, Leno will slide back into his previous role by hosting “The Tonight Show” from 11:35 - 12:35.
Stemming from the fact that NBC was in breach of contract by trying to move Jay from the 10PM hour to a 30-minute slot, the new deal takes care of the legal situation.
Meanwhile, sources have told that Conan will be pulling the plug with NBC, with insiders claiming that he’ll be stopping his work beginning January 22.
“Conan does not currently plan on doing any more new shows after next week,” says the source.
