Pairing up for a day of Comic-Con promotions, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds turned up at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California on Saturday (July 24).
The “Gossip Girl” hottie showed off a little more skin than usual in a low-cut, white, sleeveless top with black pants as she joined her hunky co-star in taking part in a “Green Lantern” panel discussion.
With fellow movie mates Peter Sarsgaard and Mark Strong as well as director Martin Campbell also on hand, Ryan dished on why he loves the “Green Lantern” character, saying, “He could throw a punch, tell a joke, and kiss the girl. I couldn’t figure out who wouldn’t want to play that for a movie…or maybe two or three.”
Meanwhile, Blake received quite the applause as she announced to the packed audience, “I’m excited to go to the Harry Potter panel next!”

Making her way to sunny San Diego, Vanessa Hudgens was front and center at Comic-Con on Saturday (July 24).
There alongside her lovely co-stars Carla Gugino, Emily Browning, Jena Malone and Jamie Chung, the “High School Musical” hottie helped to reveal a brand new clip from her upcoming movie, “Sucker Punch”.
Also starring Abbie Cornish and Jon Hamm, the Zack Snyder directed film is about “a group of young girls escaping the dark reality of their lives through their vivid imagination, which takes them to various fantasy locations in different realms.”
During the press panel, Snyder confirmed that the movie will not be in 3D, saying, “It’s not going to be in 3-D. I wanted it to be in 3-D, and we talked a lot about it, and we’ve looked at a lot of tests. None of us want to get kicked in the knees because our 3-D is crappy.”
As for Miss Hudgens, she spoke with press prior to the event about being nervous over the Comic-Con appearance.
She said, “I have never been before and I’ve heard it’s crazy there. We are promoting my new movie, Sucker Punch, there which I am really excited about and more than a little scared.”

It’s no secret she’s become one of the most beloved actresses of her time, and her “On the Road” co-star, Garrett Hedlund, can vouch for that.
During Friday’s (July 23) MTV News and MySpace’s live stream at Comic-Con, Hedlund opened up about “Twilight” star Kristen Stewart, telling, “She’s got it all there. She’s where she needs to be. She’s fantastic.”
On the flip side, the Bella Swan actress also had nothing but nice things to say about Garrett. She told press, “I’ve met him a bunch of times, and I’ve hung out with him twice. He’s a great guy. … He’s written crazy stuff for it. He’s super into it.”
“On the Road,” which will be out sometime in 2011, involves a young man who sets out to travel the roads and railways of America.
