They were arrested on drug charges in Hollywood earlier this week, and T.I. and Tameka Cottle’s mug shots have been released.
After being pulled over and getting busted with marijuana and unknown pills – that are currently being tested - the “You Can Do Whatever You Like” singer and his wife were booked into the West Hollywood sheriff’s station and later released on $10,000 bond each.
At this time, the couple has not been charged with any crime pending the results of tests on the pills.
T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, Jr., is no stranger to legal troubles - as he was released from prison late last year after serving time on an illegal firearms possession conviction.

Earlier this summer he was hit by a car and the driver took off, and Kellan Lutz’s assailant is still at large.
The “New Moon” hunk was working on the set of his movie “Immortals” when the incident occurred and Lutz says he’s worried for his own safety because the culprit still hasn’t been nabbed by Canadian police.
Paparazzo Richard Fedyck is thought to be the driver of the car, though he’s still yet to submit his driver’s license to the Montreal police.
In a press statement, Fedyck said he indeed witnessed the incident, but he wasn’t the driver and hadn’t been contacted by the authorities.

Taking care of her legal responsibilities, Lindsay Lohan was spotted arriving at a Santa Monica Courthouse earlier today (September 1).
The “Freaky Friday” babe sported a pair of sunglasses and a sexy summertime top as she strolled inside looking nonchalant.
And now that her father Michael Lohan is looking to live in closer proximity to her, LiLo is taking things into the legal realm to keep him away.
Fearing that Papa Lohan is selling her personal effects, Lindsay had her lawyer issue a cease and desist letter to Michael’s rep Lisa Bloom.
The letter states that Mr. Lohan’s attempt to cash in on his daughter is “shameful” and that as a result, Lindsay is “appalled.”

Looking her usual elegant self, Dita Von Teese was spotted passing through LAX Airport in Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday night (August 31).
Clad in a black and white rose print dress with shades and an oversized handbag, the burlesque beauty continued her hectic travels as she overwhelmingly tweeted, “Paris> Los Angeles> Sydney> New York> Paris. Let the whirlwind begin!!”
Hitting headlines just yesterday, Miss Von Teese is suing her former landlord after learning of some crude anti-Semitic comments aimed at her managers.
The burlesque dancer was reportedly told to ‘beware Jews’ when she instructed her business partners to approach the landlord. He had allegedly failed to pay back a $5,000 deposit.
According to TMZ, Von Teese has filed a lawsuit claiming that she requested the deposit and had given the property boss notice that she was moving out.
The suit claims that the star was told to “beware of Jews”. The landlord reportedly added: “In your business no-one can do anything without them.”

She’s dealing with a challenging situation already, and things for Samantha Ronson and her pup, Cadillac, could get much worse.
After the celeb DJ’s dog mauled and killed another dog at Ronson’s apartment complex over the weekend, she could not only be facing serious charges but Cadillac may be at risk of being euthanized.
Deputy Director Michelle Roache of the Los Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control told E! News, “The attack is substantial” and adding that the investigation will be “a long, lengthy process.”
Ronson’s rep has not responded to requests for comment, but in a tweet last night last night, Ronson wrote, “I feel incredibly sad and wish I could offer more than condolences, unfortunately there are no words to describe how sorry I am.”

In the aftermath of her Las Vegas arrest over the weekend, Paris Hilton could be in some serious trouble with the law.
The “Stars are Blind” songstress is looking at some jail time if she is convicted on felony charges of possession of almost a gram of cocaine.
However, Paris vehemently denies that the drugs were hers, and says the purse she was carrying was borrowed from a friend.
Hilton’s hairdresser Michael Boychuck told press he got a text message from Paris after her arrest. “She just said, ‘This is so unfair it wasn’t mine I don’t do that crap, I’m so upset.’”
But CBS Legal Analyst Lisa Bloom thinks Paris has set herself up for defeat. “She’s told contradictory stories. I’m sure her attorney at this point is saying, ‘Why did you talk at all to the police? You should have invoked your right to remain silent.’ You can’t blame both that it’s not my purse, I didn’t know the cocaine was in there, and I thought it was gum. That is just logically inconsistent. She should have picked one or better yet remained silent. Unfortunately, she didn’t do that. All of these statements can and will be used against her if this goes to trial.”
Bloom continued, stating that Paris’ ‘playing dumb’ defense isn’t going to do her any good. “We have a saying in criminal law: We don’t catch the smart ones. A lot of people who are criminals do a lot of stupid things. But I will say this; the police do have to prove that she knew the cocaine was there. That it was either her cocaine or that she was knowingly carrying it. That’s called mens rea in the criminal law. You have to have knowledge. You have to know it was in there. So if she could prove to a judge or jury if it goes to trial that she didn’t know, it wasn’t hers, it belonged to somebody else, she unknowingly was carrying it, she could have a defense.”
“In the purse that she was carrying, was her prescription medication she concedes, $1,300 which belonged to her. Other items in the purse like lip balm that belonged to her. So it doesn’t really make a lot of sense that the only thing in the purse apparently that didn’t belong to her was this small bindle of cocaine that she didn’t know was there or she thought was gum. That’s not plausible story.”
All in all, Paris could be spending some time in the slammer if the jury finds her guilty. “It’s a minimum of probation out there in Clark County, Nevada, but she has a prior history here in California from 2007 of both a DUI and two probation violations. I think under those circumstances the officials would send her to jail, probably just for a short time, though.”

Getting quite the strange counteroffer while trying to settle a trailer lawsuit out of court, Taylor Lautner has been issued a push-up challenge by the defendant.
The muscle-dependent proposition stems from the “Twilight” hunk’s recent court filings alleging that Brent McMahon, who owns McMahon’s RV in Irvine, California, failed to complete a $300,000 custom trailer in time for him to use on the set of his movie.
According to NY Daily News, McMahon wants to face-off against Lautner in a push-up contest rather than pay the actor the $40,000 in which he’s seeking.
Denying any wrongdoing and expressing plans to go to court if Taylor doesn’t accept the push-up plan, McMahon, 47, has even said that he’ll donate the $40,000 in question to Children’s Hospital of Orange County if her ends up beating his younger counterpart.
Meanwhile, Lautner’s attorney, Robert Barta, was unwilling to comment - seemingly not taking to kindly to the unusual offer.

The latest update in the Paris Hilton drug arrest drama is that she’s being charged with possession of a controlled substance.
And the nature and amount of the substance - .8 grams of cocaine- means that the “Simple Life” babe is looking at a felony when the D.A. files the case later today (August 30).
Hilton landed in hot water after being detained by police for being in a car smelling like marijuana smoke. She asked to be taken into a nearby hotel where she tried to take her purse into the bathroom.
A police rep told TMZ, “As she began to open it, I saw a small bindle of what I believed to be cocaine in a clear baggie begin to fall from the purse and into my hand.”
Of course, Paris is maintaining that the drugs weren’t hers and that she borrowed the purse from a friend, not knowing the cocaine was in there.
