Everybody needs a vacation once in awhile, and Michael J. Fox and his wife were spotted on a beautiful beach in St. Barts on Tuesday (March 9).

The “Family Ties” co-stars - who have been married since 1988 – looked to be having a marvelous time splashing in the ocean, and soaking up the sun.

In other news, being a victim of Parkinson’s disease, Fox will be honored for giving an astounding $175 million for the research of developing medication for the disease.

According to the BBC, the iconic actor will receive an honorary degree of medicine from Sweden’s Karolinska Institute which also awards the annual Nobel Prize in the same discipline.

On cloud nine, Sandra Bullock was all smiles as she left the Oprah Winfrey show in Los Angles on Monday (March 8).

Fresh off of her Oscar triumph, the brunette beauty strolled out to her awaiting limo after chatting on the popular US talk show.

After taking home a plethora of awards already this year, Ms Bullock received the Best Actress Academy Award for her performance in “The Blind Side” last night.

During her acceptance speech, Sandra movingly thanked her mother for “reminding her daughters that there’s no race, no religion, no class system, no color, no sexual orientation that makes us better than anyone else. We are all deserving of love.”

Enjoying a little quality time with her family, Sienna Miller was spotted out with her parents in New York City on Monday afternoon (March 8).

The “Layer Cake” cutie and her folks strolled around town, fresh off of a visit with Jude Law at his SoHo hotel.

Meanwhile, Miss Miller was among the winners of the awards show weekend – though the accolade wasn’t exactly what she was hoping for.

Opting not to attend the ceremony, Sienna was named as worst supporting actress for her part in “GI Joe: The Rise of the Cobra” at the annual Razzie Awards.

Not fooling paparazzi with her new look, a brunette Katherine Heigl was spotted out in Los Feliz, California on Monday (March 8).

The “Grey’s Anatomy” actress strolled over to Little Dom’s for lunch, having just recently dyed her blonde locks the new darker shade.

Meanwhile, Miss Heigl is gearing up to be honored as the female star of the year at ShoWest 2010.

Katherine is expected to attend a fancy ceremony held in Las Vegas on March 18th, with ShoWest managing director Robert Sunshine telling, “Her ever-present charm and innate talent have made Heigl’s transition from TV screen to silver screen seemingly effortless. Her comedic timing and flair for acting are showcased in each of her roles and have captivated audiences around the globe.”

After several delays, Lil Wayne has finally turned himself to a Manhattan courthouse in New York City on Monday (March 8).

The rapper has formally received a one-year jail sentence after pleading guilty last fall to a July 2007 weapons crime.

Wayne’s sentencing was delayed once for dental surgery and then again due to a courthouse fire.

Word has it, the “Prom Queen” singer could get out after eight months for good behavior but if not, fans won’t be seeing him again until March 2011.

Marie Osmond’s Son Laid to Rest

Putting her son to rest on Monday (March 8), Marie Osmond and family gathered at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel in Provo, Utah.

The moving service for Michael Bryan, who took his own life, was attended by his seven siblings and show business uncles, including Donny, who delivered the invocation through tears, according to People magazine.

A slide show of Michael as a child ran on a loop on a small screen in the lobby of the LDS Chapel as hundreds of friends and family streamed into the chapel, adorned with dozens of huge flower arrangements, including calla lilies, roses and stargazer lilies.

As previously reported by Gossip Center, Marie’s 18-year-old son lept to his death from his Los Angeles apartment building on February 26th.
