Spending her days in the Big Apple, Beyonce Knowles was spotted taking cover behind her bodyguard in midtown Manhattan on Monday (July 19).
The “Halo” singing hottie placed her hands over her head to try and shield her curly blonde hairdo as she she got out of her car for a midday appointment.
In related news, Beyonce was among the music world elite in being named on Forbes magazine’s annual Top Earning Musicians issue.
Doing quite well for herself, Miss Knowles garnered the third spot on the list with $87 million in earnings from June 2009 to June 2010.
With U2 topping the money-makers with $131 million, Beyonce’s rap mogul hubby Jay-Z landed the number 6 spot by pulling in $63 million.

Having already finished up their stage duties the previous day, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z turned into spectators as they stepped out for the second day of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California on Saturday night (April 17).
Escorted around the grounds with the help of a few security staffers, the power couple looked to be having a marvelous time as they checked out acts such as MGMT and the White Stripes at the annual west coast event.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, Beyonce surprised festivalgoers on Friday night by joining her hubby onstage to perform “Forever Young”.
Talking to the crowd as he announced his “Singer Ladies” singer wife, the “99 Problems” hip-hop mogul said, “Ladies and gentlemen, I wanna introduce you all to someone super-duper special. I’m not even gonna say the name. I’m gonna let her speak for herself.”

He’s getting up there in years, but Beyonce Knowles’ father Matthew Knowles has just sired a new baby boy.
The results of a DNA test have confirmed that Mr. Knowles is the father of Alexsandra Wright’s son, making Beyonce and Solange half-sisters.
Matthew and his ex-wife Tina split up after 30 years of marriage when news of his affair with Wright surfaced.
According to a report, Knowles and Wright had an 18-month affair, ending in a paternity suit back in October.

Supporting her man, Beyonce Knowles attended the ceremonial groundbreaking for Barclays Center at Atlantic Yards in New York City on Thursday (March 11).

Watching on as husband Jay-Z dug away, the “Single Ladies” singer looked adorable at the midday Big Apple event.Always keeping herself busy, Beyonce spent this past Friday opening up the Beyonce Cosmetology Center in Brooklyn.

Joined by her mother, Tina Knowles, the “Single Ladies” singer’s establishment is located at the Phoenix House – offering opportunity to recovering substance abusers.

Always gracious to her loyal fans, Beyonce Knowles was spotted showing some love to the locals in Rio de Janeiro earlier today (February 8).

The “Crazy in Love” babe walked out on the balcony of her swanky hotel suite and waved to the fans and paparazzi waiting outside.

Last night, Beyonce was in full force as she took the stage at Rio’s HSBC Arena in Barra da Tijuca for a killer concert.

Thankfully she didn’t have a repeat of last Thursday’s show where she got tripped up and almost fell into the audience.

While she’s riding high off of her record-setting six Grammy wins, Beyonce Knowles has gotten a bit of bad news – as she now finds herself as a defendant in a newly filed lawsuit.

The “Halo” singer and her mother Tina Knowles’ clothing line House of Deréon has been named in a suit filed by Vier International, who claims breach of contract.

According to recent reports, the Hong Kong manufacturer insists that they’ve lost out on $500,000 due to a scheme involving Donna Loren LLC and shippers HJM International.

Filing the claims under the RICO statutes, Vier International tells that the two parties were “conspirators who induced the shipment of goods to the United States with the intent to convert them or pay less .”

It’s no secret that she’s one of the biggest female artists in the world, and Beyonce Knowles’ music reportedly gave a fellow songstress the extra boost to finish a marathon.

Alanis Morissette recently told press how listening to the “Single Ladies” singer’s tracks kept her going when she thought she was going to keel over.

“I ran a marathon for the National Eating Disorder Association. It was grueling.  I have a marathon-mix. It’s eclectic. It’s Rage Against The Machine, Radiohead.. Beyonce saved my life for the last six miles.”

“Her Survivor song, I just kept hitting repeat. She really did save my life.  I’m going to have to reach out to her to thank her.”

Making the trip around the world following her VMAs appearance, Beyonce Knowles was spotted out in Sydney, Australia on Saturday (September 19).

In the Land Down Under as she continues along with tour duties, the “Irreplaceable” singer was escorted out the back door of Icebergs restaurant following a relaxing meal.

And while her career endeavors continue to be ever-so-lucrative, recent reports tell that Beyonce is being sued by Abercrombie and Fitch over her upcoming perfume line.

According to BBC News, “Abercrombie said it was worried the line from Beyonce, who uses the alter ego Sasha Fierce, would infringe on its own Fierce fragrance brand.”

Replying to the legal action, Beyonce’s perfume make, Coty, responded, “The terms Fierce and Sasha Fierce are not being used as names of a Beyonce fragrance. Details related to the fragrance, including the official name, will be revealed prior to the launch in early 2010.”
