Spending her days in the Big Apple, Beyonce Knowles was spotted taking cover behind her bodyguard in midtown Manhattan on Monday (July 19).
The “Halo” singing hottie placed her hands over her head to try and shield her curly blonde hairdo as she she got out of her car for a midday appointment.
In related news, Beyonce was among the music world elite in being named on Forbes magazine’s annual Top Earning Musicians issue.
Doing quite well for herself, Miss Knowles garnered the third spot on the list with $87 million in earnings from June 2009 to June 2010.
With U2 topping the money-makers with $131 million, Beyonce’s rap mogul hubby Jay-Z landed the number 6 spot by pulling in $63 million.

Treating his lady to a night on the town, Jay-Z stepped out with Beyonce Knowles for a romantic dinner at Pepolino Ristorante in New York City on Monday (June 14).
The “99 Problems” hitmaker and his “Halo” singing bride chowed down on tasty Italian cuisine before being escorted outside to their awaiting ride.
The relaxing dinner date comes just after Beyonce and Jay returned to their Big Apple abode following a weekend trip to Tennessee.
The power couple visited the Volunteer state as Jay-Z was among the many performers taking part in the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.

Having already finished up their stage duties the previous day, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z turned into spectators as they stepped out for the second day of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California on Saturday night (April 17).
Escorted around the grounds with the help of a few security staffers, the power couple looked to be having a marvelous time as they checked out acts such as MGMT and the White Stripes at the annual west coast event.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, Beyonce surprised festivalgoers on Friday night by joining her hubby onstage to perform “Forever Young”.
Talking to the crowd as he announced his “Singer Ladies” singer wife, the “99 Problems” hip-hop mogul said, “Ladies and gentlemen, I wanna introduce you all to someone super-duper special. I’m not even gonna say the name. I’m gonna let her speak for herself.”

Kicking off their weekend in Indio, California, Beyonce and Jay-Z were spotted at Coachella on Friday (April 16).
The paparazzi snapped a few shots of the “If I Were a Boy” singer as she stood front row alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger’s wife Maria Shriver and their daughter all the while Jay-Z took the stage and did his thing.
After opening up with “Run This Town,” Jay-Z later surprised and thrilled fans when he welcomed his lovely wife to the stage to sing “Forever Young.”
Ms Beyonce also shocked the crowd by wearing a t-shirt with swear words all over it, something that seems very out of character for the clean-cut pop star.

Making sure to spend as much of their little down time together as possible, Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles were side-by-side in New York City on Saturday evening (April 3).
The hip-hop mogul and his “Halo” singing wife looked fabulous as they ventured over to the popular Big Apple eatery Nello’s for a delicious dinner.
The sighting comes shortly after pregnancy rumors surrounding the couple hit the Web, which one again turned out to be a false alarm.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, a rep for the power pair quickly spoke up about the Media Takeout story, simply saying that it was “not true.”

He’s getting up there in years, but Beyonce Knowles’ father Matthew Knowles has just sired a new baby boy.
The results of a DNA test have confirmed that Mr. Knowles is the father of Alexsandra Wright’s son, making Beyonce and Solange half-sisters.
Matthew and his ex-wife Tina split up after 30 years of marriage when news of his affair with Wright surfaced.
According to a report, Knowles and Wright had an 18-month affair, ending in a paternity suit back in October.

Supporting her man, Beyonce Knowles attended the ceremonial groundbreaking for Barclays Center at Atlantic Yards in New York City on Thursday (March 11).
Watching on as husband Jay-Z dug away, the “Single Ladies” singer looked adorable at the midday Big Apple event.Always keeping herself busy, Beyonce spent this past Friday opening up the Beyonce Cosmetology Center in Brooklyn.
Joined by her mother, Tina Knowles, the “Single Ladies” singer’s establishment is located at the Phoenix House – offering opportunity to recovering substance abusers.

Stepping out to support her hip-hop hubby, Beyonce Knowles was spotted at the Jay-Z concert after-party in New York City on Tuesday night (March 2).
The “If I Were A Boy” singer showed up to her hubby’s 40/40 nightclub after the “Run This Town” rapper performed at his Madison Square Garden sold-out show.
In the audience watching the stellar performance was none other than basketball king, Lebron James as well as Beyonce’s fellow Destiny’s Child singer, Michelle Williams.
In other news, it is being reported that Young Jeezy –who opened for Jay-Z last night- and Beyonce are teaming up for one of his new singles.

She’s been taking her “Sasha Fierce” flavor all over the world, but it turns out Beyonce Knowles won’t be making her scheduled stop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as was previously planned.
According to a report, the “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” songstress was due to perform on October 25th, though the date “has been postponed to a future date to be announced shortly.”
Concert promotion company Marctensia told press, “The postponement is solely [the] decision of the artist and has nothing to do with other external reasons.”
Meanwhile, Beyonce was busy shaking her bootylicious body for the folks in Saitama, Japan last night as her World Tour hit the Saitama Super Arena.
