Braving the scorching hot summertime weather, Ashley Greene and a friend were spotted out and about in New York City on Wednesday afternoon (July 7).
The Alice Cullen cutie and her gal pal were dressed in casual garb as they popped into a local deli to cool off as temperatures in the Big Apple continue to rise.
With the warm summertime weather taking over during the past few days, Ashley tweeted the previous day, “It’s 90 and night time in NYC. WHAT is going on here??”
Also voicing her amazement on how well the “Twilight Saga” flicks continue to do, she wrote, “Just got word of the boxoffice numbers for Eclipse! Guys… You’re seriously the Most INCREDIBLE fans ever!! Thank you!! Xx”

The “New Moon” babe has an exciting new starring role coming up and she’s poised to become a household name.
According to Ashley’s rep, she has been offered the starring role in “Scream 4” which also features veterans Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette.
Director Wes Craven told press, “We have fun with the idea of endless sequels, or ’sequelitis’ as Kevin calls it in the script. Sid goes through these three horrendous things, and ‘Stab’ was based on those horrible things. And then they’ve been taken by a studio and run into the ground in a series of sequels. She has been off by herself and living her own life, and she’s even written a book that has gotten a lot of critical acclaim. She’s kind of put her life back together in the course of these 10 years. But, certainly, there would be no ‘Scream’ without Ghostface, so she has to confront him again, but now as a woman who has really come out the darkness of her past.”

Despite complications over contract details, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz have come to an agreement with Summit Entertainment to star in “Breaking Dawn.”
The “Twilight” costars have indeed signed contracts to reprise their roles as Alice and Emmett Cullen for the forthcoming movie.
Given the massive success of the “Twilight Saga” films, Ashley and Kellan were both feeling like they deserved pay raises, especially since Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner all got hikes in their salaries.
And it seems the standoff worked, as Greene and Lutz are reportedly bringing home handsome raises for the new flick.

She shot to worldwide fame thanks to the “Twilight Saga” franchise and now Ashley Greene has been named to the “Twenty Most Beautiful People of the Decade” list by Interview Magazine.

The Alice Cullen cutie has been busy filming and promoting movies over the last few years, but has always been gracious with her fans as well as the media.

Interview Magazine explained, “With five films scheduled to come out in the next year, it’s safe to say that Ashley Greene is riding the momentum from the absurd Twilight wave.”

Also named to the list was Ashley’s costar Robert Pattinson, who can’t seem to go anywhere without being mobbed these days.  He, too, has plenty of film projects in the works.

She shot to fame almost overnight thanks to her role in “Twilight,” and now Ashley Greene says her vampire gig helped her score other roles as well.

The 22-year-old actress told press, “Instantly, we have this fan base, instantly, we have these careers and people know who we are.  People now actually care about what project I’m in.”

And of course the fame has come with its fair share of drawbacks as well.  “I’ve been asked by people to get a lock of Robert Pattinson’s hair. I’ve even had girls come up to me and ask to smell my hair.  I’ve gotten proposals, and I always wonder, ‘What would people do if I said yes?’”

As for keeping her fit form for the “Twilight Saga” films, Ashley revealed, “It was really easy.  We were working 12 hours a day, so it didn’t leave too much time to eat.”

She’s one of the hottest young actresses in Hollywood, and Ashley Greene recently confessed that she’d love to hook up with a real-life vampire.

The “Twilight” babe explained, “Take the best sex you’ve ever had in your life, multiply it by 100 and that’s vampire sex.”

In addition, Miss Greene (who plays Alice Cullen) confessed that she was obsessed with getting her role in the uber-hit “Twilight Saga” films.

“Oh, my God, I wanted this part so badly! I worked my butt off for it because I absolutely love Alice, my character.  She’s sweet, sexy, and a killer! So when they told me I got it, I tried to play it all cool, you know, for about a minute.  Suddenly the Twilight blogs started picking it up, and then fans were there taking photos, and I’m on the news, and I was like, ‘What?’ And then I got really nervous.”

While their co-stars are overseas promoting in Paris, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz were doing their part to boost interest in “New Moon” in San Francisco on Monday (November 9).

The Alice Cullen actress and Emmett Cullen hunk happily posed for pictures and greeting screaming fans during visits to both Nordstrom and Hot Topic.

Meanwhile, Miss Greene recently marveled at the current “Twilight” popularity - noting that her pet pooch is even famous from her movie stardom.

She tells, “It’s crazy, right? I think my dog is more famous than a lot of stars out there. I bet some people in Hollywood are like, ‘I can’t get my picture in a mag, but Ashley’s pooch [Marlo] does?’. It’s mind-boggling.”

Taking care of her pet owner responsibilities, Ashley Greene was spotted walking her dog in Los Angeles earlier today (October 28).

The “Twilight” hottie looked cool and casual as she strolled around the studio lot, sporting a grey sweater with black trousers and black flats.

Earlier this week, Miss Greene was in the house for the much-hyped U2 concert at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

And coming up next month, Ashley and the rest of her Cullen cohorts will be bringing us “New Moon,” set to hit theaters November 20th.

While co-stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be debuting brand new footage from “New Moon,” Ashley Greene has landed herself a job at the 2009 MTV VMAs.

According to MTV reports, the Alice Cullen actress will be on-hand for the VMA preshow, during which time she’ll act as the celebrity fashion correspondent.

Ready to show off her style knowledge, Greene will reportedly be bringing “updates about what everyone’s wearing and chatting with celebs as they make their way into Radio City Music Hall for the show.”

Also working for MTV during the preshow, which airs at8PM on September 13th, are MTV News correspondents Sway and Tim Kash.

Keeping up with latest trends, Ashley Greene was spotted out shopping in Vancouver, Canada yesterday afternoon (August 21).

The “Twilight” star looked sexy in a short black dress as she walked to Banana Republic while texting and trying to ignore the anxious paparazzi.

Just yesterday, Ms Greene and Vanessa Hudgens were spotted out together at the mall as they are both in Vancouver working on films – Ashley on “Eclipse” and Hudgens on “Sucker Punch.”

Greene will remain in Vancouver until Eclipse wraps filming in late October.
