She has quite the full schedule between a bustling acting career and a massive family at home, and Angelina Jolie says she’s come a long way in her 35 years of life.
In the new Parade magazine , the “Changeling” chick talks about everything from her past to her family life.
Ang explained that she didn’t used to be so well-adjusted. “I used to cut myself or jump out of airplanes, trying to find something new to push up against because sometimes everything else felt too easy. I was searching for something deeper, something more. I tried everything. I always felt caged, closed in, like I was punching at things that weren’t there. I always had too much energy for the room I was in.”
And now that she’s found love with Brad Pitt and her six kids, Jolie says she’s content to lay low. “There’s never a period when Brad and I are pulled apart. We are not separated for more than three days, ever. We stay really connected. We actually don’t go out much. It’s funny. We’re very homebound. We’re very much Mommy and Daddy in our pajamas.”
On the topic of love- “I feel sad for someone who has never known love. Love elevates. You know, Brad would joke about me having this conversation about love. Love? It’s such a funny word. Brad can find certain phrases of poetry for it. I’m terrible at it. But I know it means wanting the best for the people you love, putting their interests above your own, always. Love does that. Love is what you live for.”

Continuing to log the long hours at work, Angelina Jolie was spotted making her way to and from the set of “The Tourist” in Venice on Friday (March 5).

After spending two hours in hair and makeup, the “Wanted” beauty grabbed a boat ride to the shoot’s locale - staying until 11PM before finally calling it quits for the night.

According to on-set sources, Miss Jolie was joined by co-star Johnny Depp, who finished up his duties and took off to catch a flight to Paris about an hour before Angelina’s departure.

The sighting comes amidst the latest round of Jolie rumors, which claim that the gorgeous actress had a fling with Rolling Stones rocker Mick Jagger.

According to author Jenny Paul’s new book “Brad Pitt and Angelina: The True Story,” Angelina hooked up with Mick when she starred in the video for his group’s single “Anybody Seen My Baby?” in 1997, with further claims that the two rekindled another short-term romance in 2003.

Making for quite the welcome surprise, Angelina Jolie got an on-set visit from her son, Pax Thien, on Thursday afternoon (February 25) in Paris, France.

Decked out in costume, the 34-year-old actress smiled as she hugged her young boy during a break from shooting her new movie “The Tourist” – with the pair heading off to grab up a bite to eat for lunch.

Meanwhile, it seems as if Miss Jolie is making quite the favorable impression on the French public during her movie shoot.

A restaurant employee tells People magazine, “She was very nice to everyone, very patient. No fuss, and she is trés Jolie. Very pretty.”

Another onlooker adds, “She’s much more beautiful in person. I can’t believe how beautiful.”

She’s been hard at work on the set of “The Tourist” in Paris France, and Angelina Jolie had some surprise visitors on Tuesday (February 23).

After doing a bit of clothes shopping, Brad Pitt and his daughters, Zahara and Shiloh stopped by Jolie’s movie set to say hi to their mama.

Decked out in makeup and wardrobe, Angelina took a break from filming scenes at an outdoor café when her loved ones arrived.

The four of them then headed over to a nearby suite in the Hotel du Louvre and enjoyed a nice lunch together.

Enjoying some girl time, Angelina Jolie and two of her daughters were spotted at Whole Foods on Saturday (January 16) in Sherman Oaks, CA.

The “Changeling” actress along with Zahara and Shiloh (who was sporting a rather boyish ensemble), took their time and shopped around at the natural food store.

As previously reported, Angelina and Brad Pitt recently donated $1 million to Haiti, specifically to Doctors Without Borders so it can staff and equip a 100-bed tent hospital with two operating rooms.

In other news, although it was said they will not be attending, word has it there may be a possibility that the famous couple will be attending Sunday night’s Golden Globes. The family’s bodyguard was spotted at the Beverly Hilton where the awards take place.

Back out for another day of filming, Angelina Jolie was spotted making her morning arrival on the set of “Salt” in New York City on Wednesday (December 30).

Bundled up for the chilly weather, the “Wanted” hottie hopped out of her chauffeured SUV to head straight onto a boat docked along the Hudson River - proceeding to get ready for her CIA thriller re-shoot duties.

As previously reported by Gossip Center, Angelina was joined on-set the previous evening by partner, Brad Pitt, as well as daughters Zahara and Shiloh.

Currently making the most of their holiday stay in the Big Apple, reports tell that Brangelina and the brood have been “spotted waiting in line like all the other patrons for hot cocoa and picking up winter gear from street vendors.”

It has been seven long years since Angelina Jolie and her father Jon Voight contacted one another, due to a deep rift in their relationship.  But now they’ve reportedly reconciled.

The “National Treasure” actor recently told press, “We’re in touch, but not regularly.  We love each other and that’s the most important thing.”

It all started back in 2001 when Jon appeared on “Access Hollywood” and made a teary plea to Jolie to get help for her “serious mental problems.”

And finally this past February Ang and Jon met face to face to clear the air.  “Angie made the initial contact.  Brad [Pitt] has been supportive- a key factor in her reaching out.”

Stepping out for a shopping spree, Angelina Jolie took Zahara and Shiloh toy shopping in Toulon, France on Wednesday (September 23).

The “Wanted” beauty wore a long black dress as she escorted her little ones out for a fun-filled day, loading up with plenty of goodies to keep them occupied during the overseas stay.

As previously reported, Miss Jolie recently stated that she’s just like every other mom, with the only difference being her high-profile career.

Ang explained, “I am just a dedicated mother and really quite normal.  I dedicate my free time to my United Nations work — I have a sincere interest in social issues.”

She continued, “At the same time, my main focus is on my children. I want to be with them for the big moments in their lives. We have birthdays all year round!  It’s chaos but we do manage somehow — we just try to have a wonderful time. Now the older kids get involved in planning the birthdays for younger kids. It’s one of the greatest pleasures of life.”

Out and about for a girl’s afternoon, Angelina Jolie and her daughter Shiloh were spotted doing some shopping in Ajaccio, France today (August 28).

The “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” actress and her little one looked to be having a marvelous time as they made their way around the town, trying to avoid the paparazzi.

In related news, it seems Ang is thinking about reprising her role as a master assassin in “Wanted” for an upcoming sequel.

Director Timur Bekmambetov told press, “If you remember from the first film, we have a recovery room with the baths of wax. We know how to do this, but it’s still tough to do, because the bullet is inside her head. I think we will make the movie this winter.”

Finished up with her visit to the Middle East, Angelina Jolie and her 7-year-old son Maddox were spotted flying into Heathrow Airport in London on Friday (July 24).

The “Wanted” actress led her little guy through the international arrivals terminal, passing by eagerly awaiting paparazzi along the way.

As previously reported, Miss Jolie made the trip overseas to visit Amman, Jordan, where she was honored for her charity work by the Arab Children’s Congress.

During her travels, the “Mr and Mrs Smith” star also visited Baghdad to check in on the rebuilding progress in the war-torn area.
